sitting at work, bored
« on: March 30, 2017, 10:57:45 AM »
I am sitting at work and bored.
It is a bright sunny day and I am stuck in my cupboard wishing i was out on my bike instead. Then started thinking about this years event. 150 days to go. 150!
Thinking about last years event and smiling to myself like an idiot as I think of all the good times and fun. It is pretty amazing what you can squeeze into 1 week. I guess that makes us all pretty lucky.
One thought in particular was coming off the salt on the last day I passed the Bjorkland rig and trailer. I gave a little honk from my car. The horn blast that came back from the rig was hilarious. I felt like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber.

Yes I know, I am easily pleased.
Catch you all soon, enjoy prepping for the salt kids.

Hi Comet!  Your post made me giggle!  Chris just got my salt bike back together and running with it's new expansion chambers.  Whooie!  150 days 'til I see you at the one mile mark, Great Granny Sandy

I'm being patient, promise.
We are looking forward to seeing you both there Sandy. Tell Chris I will sneak a beer in the suitcase for him.
I will probably try and sneak more than just the 1 into the case in all fairness.
