This MIGHT have had something to do with us losing Wilmington?

Cutting grass today, I remembered seeing these pictures from the September 2015 meet.
Just found them and they were posted by problemaddict. His imgur link is: http://imgur.com/a/aDFvF

One torn up Mustang and MAJOR $$$$$$ Airport equipment torn up as well.....Needlessly!

As I posted last year, COMPLETE DRIVER ERROR!

Frank, Yep, that be the one.

He was running about 175, looked down at the gauges and missed the finish line lights. He did not pull his chute or get on the brakes till in between short and long shutdown turnouts. Ran off the end of the track, down the ravine and through the fence. Took out one of the landing lights/pole and then took out some MAJOR $$$$$ radar equipment as well as fencing. MAJOR F'UP!

As Keith ALWAYS says in Rookie Orientation: We have left and right courses and they are marked by orange cones to the finish.....If you don't see any orange cones, you've passed finish so stop. Also, keep your head up and looking forward at ALL times.

I heard this guy wanted to come back and race this year and was told "Sorry"!

Hey fellas, I'm sure this guy didn't leave the startline with the intention of messin his ride up,,  its easy to point the finger and throw stones "after the fact"  rolleyes

I feel this thread shouldn't be on here as it dose nothing but "deamonize" a racer,,

He didn't follow the rules and it cost him. Hope others learn from this. Rules are for everyone. His action hurts everyone. SCTA has banned racers for screwing up and always for a good reason.

Actually he cut ahead of me because I didn't move my car fast enough. Then I sat at the start line and was the first one out next morning. Keith said it was my fault because I let him cut ahead of me. THANKS KEITH. If I kicked his car could of saved a lot of grief.

Years ago at Bonneville, a car passed us as I moved the truck and Monza first out of the old pre-stage.  We had to tow up about 300 feet and then wait at least another half hour or so.

It bothered me quite a lot.  Not very courteous.  Most of the crew did not speak English so I decided not to address the problem.  And/or I guess they were not used to waiting their turn in lines in the country they came from.

I'm glad it happened that way or else I wouldn't have seen them fly at somewhere after the 1.  And land on the slick roof.  And get towed on the roof out of the way.  Whole thing took about 10 minutes.

Karma?
