I notch tubing with my Portaband . 2 straight cuts mates any 2 tubes .

Well gosh....I use me Index 745 Verticle mill......but that vid. is another way. :cheers:

I had migrated to the Chop saw on the weird cuts--  but without the math---can not wait to try it with the math---should be able to make much better copes!!!!!!!

Actually it IS easy.
Even the super pros have to do a little hand grinding for a good fit.
You just have to do a little more this way.  Get one of those round edge flapper discs for your grinder and it gets REAL easy!  :cheers:

I think I notched over 200 tubes on the long car.
Starrett Hole saw on the drill press holding with a vice.

I have a brand new tube notcher here that I never used. :dhorse:
