I agree 100%. I only started this topic because I'm amazed how many rods have been built (millions?) with split wishbones (or hairpins)- both front and rear.

Sorry guys. I was just trying to elaborate on fordboy's comment about using rod ends on suspension links.

Mount a camera on the car to monitor suspension travel-it isn't that much.  So, all this flexion stuff doesn't matter because the suspension moves thru such a limited range of travel.  A stiff spring and limited travel covers a lot of engineering sins.
