I'll pass on my best wishes as well for a safe and fast meet. You guys deserve about ten years in a row of hot, sunny weather (for the meet!!).  grin grin grin

We're on target . The Colonel leaves in 24hrs, me in 48.

Condition reports are good. Weather reports are excellent, low to mid thirties and cold nights.

I've been flat out on the tank for five days straight.

Getting pretty excited. cheers

Despite all attempts to sort the 250, it has had it's way, (it's scared I'm sure) and will not be ready to compete this year.
We will be pitting with the Doc, Chris Bryson & his fast 'Busa, and getting the hands dirty working on Phil Cvirn's 150+ mph Shovelhead, so we will have fun , I'm sure.

Killing me that I won't be there this year, as Freud says, there are only so many meets in a lifetime, get to 'em all!

Just got a text from Goggs - They've got about 150 miles under their bums at the moment - I suspect they're shooting for Port Augusta by tonight.

Corkin' weather forecast - mid 90s, light breezes - no mention of the "R" word.

Looks like they'll get this one in.

Nothing new on the DLRA forum – I did find this -

http://www.dlra.org.au/2014.htm#PREENTRIES

I counted total 139 preentries – 81 bikes.

Couldn’t help but notice a rookie in a ’67 MGB running in F/PRO on a 140 record.  Must be an MGBGT, if it’s in Production – 4 seats - but that’s a pretty stout record to be running a punched out 5 port on.

I've got to make this trip some year.  Beats shoveling snow.

We probably won't get any reports until it's over.

Maybe someone will leave early and send something.
