Hit the short tracks in the area. They are way more fun than the speedway. The "500" is boooooooooring.

Yeah, I know this is in the wrong thread and that this is a old joke but what the hell: "If you want to watch a Nascar Race just throw a handful of Skittles in the toilet and flush it".                               Bob

NASCAR's been tanking for me for years.

They want me back as a customer?  Put 'em on a 1/2 mile dirt track, make the cars look like something I could go out and buy, and put a cap on sponsorship dollars.

Oh, and keep the knuckleheads behind the steering wheel and away from the cameras.

away from the cameras! LMAO

short story...had a un named top fuel Harley rider, that was a media hog / motor mouth. when we had him as our pilot the only rule was, he was only allowed to talk [to anyone] when the bike was running and the throttle wide open!

who would have guessed it would take so long to go so fast for such a short time?

The truck race on the dirt at Eldora was a race!
Well, it used to be Los Angeles . . . 50 miles north of Fresno now.
Just remember . . . It isn't life or death.
It's bigger than life or death! It's RACING.

Could have been written tongue-in-cheek. Trent is too smart to fall for the Fox Sports scam.
