Another awesome build, this forum is a gearheads dream.

My buddy built a twin engine Honda, but hacked off the back of the front motor to get away from two transmissions. Interested to see how you work out the details. Those look to be the big Yamahas, 1300 or 1854cc each?

Please tell me you will be riding it at BUB event...

Dare i ask is it a fueler or gas burner?

Don

I guess I should have gave a little more info at the beginning of my thread  I plan to start out in the Gas class and then maybe move over to fuel later. The engines are not very big (1670s) so that puts it a 3340cc, 8.3 to 1 compression, 4 valve heads, 1000cc injectors, a single GT4088r turbo and start out around 18 pounds of boost.

I was thinking its going to sound awesome until the turbos showed up. Still Bad A$$. What is your target speed?

Well the short version is. My wife wanted to go to SpeedWeek so she told me to build something fast that would not embarrass her (whatever that means?). It is setup for just north of 230 (wheel speed) so if everything goes right just over 200. I would really like to get a HAT to cover my little bald spot  but that is going to be easier said than done as we all know... The downfall is the minimum is 210. I am not sure if it can get there.

I know I must have done something wrong... I was able to rig my custom double throttle cables from Motion Pro in less than 5 mins.

I hope this is better Joe. I use tinypic to resize.

Thanks Scott,

Well the good news is, I figured out how I want to run my fuel lines. The bad new is I have to get out my CC and order a bunch of firesleeve.

Yes, both pushrods run in a large single tube on the right side of the engines.

I had a pretty productive day building brackets for the LCD displays, installing firesleeve, boost gauge and water pump. I started laying out the wires and I can see it is going to be a total pain is the XXX. Trying to find any extra room is getting very difficult but with less than 100 days. The show must go on!!!

I finished the outer bearing support to control any vertical movement.

Also got the water pump mounted, coils brackets, coils and rear engine MAP sensors mounted.

I spent the last 2 days cutting, stripping, soldering and deleting wires. I have about a day or so left until I find out if I cut the wrong one :-o
