I thought the top truck looked like a good tow vehicle... seemed to have structure for shade already  rolleyes

Plus you could entertain your friends at the Bend launching rockets at the Floating Mountain! And the BLM thought roman candles were something? grin

Howdy from Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  If we haven't already met -- I'm Jon, a/k/a Seldom Seen Slim, the head handlebar holder of this website.  We're all glad to have you.

Here's a link to some information on importing a race vehicle to the US.  I think the particular item is about third down -- but look around on the entire page.  There'ls lots more information there to help you.  Read  through -- and feel free to ask more questions.

Best - -

Woody, You read my mind. Sorry he didn't keep the old straight 8, but that just means we will have more parts out there for our car. The little flathead will be mighty lonesome under that long hood. The big truck would make an awesome push truck. Can you imagine trying to get a rocket launcher truck through customs? I mean even if it's 75 years old. ZZGarage welcome to the site and to Salt racing. Bring your friends and stop by the Salt Cat pits for a beer and a little hot rod chat.
   Doug  cheers cheers cheers

Over here we can get it at any Home Depot, Lowes, etc. or any industrial plastics supplier. I would think there must be somewhere closer to you than North America that you can get clear polycarbonate sheet.

Make sure you get polycarbonate and not acrylic. Acrylic breaks into sharp shards while ploycarbonate just bends.

You've got flat windows, so it should be an easy operation.

My sponsor sells Lexan and if you send accurate templates I can help you for sure. I think the price would be good as well. Mike.

I use www.aircraftspruce.com  . They are fast and reasonable and don't rip you off on freight. Don't know about freight to Russia, though.
