First time over 200!!!
« on: August 28, 2012, 10:26:30 PM »
Didn't really expect it to happen today, but i was able to push my mps-pg 3000 to 201 on the down run.  The return was very slippery and could only get 189 out of it. 195 record   Still one one he fastest pushrods gas bikes out there so I am happy.  The salt should be better tomorrow.

yes, we are coming back for WOS.  Going to head home, do laundry, wash the bike, add every chunk of steel and lead I have and come back.

Today I ran 195 and 192.  I can't get the bike to hook up and it is all over the place on the track.  The salt isn't great.  Hopefully it will dry and get packed down by WOS.

 :-o !?!?!

That's a helluva hike on a 10 day turnaround!

I can stomach I-80 through Nebraska only once a year.

3 trips across NE so far.  I'm going to St. George to see Glen and the Vesco shop, then home via I-40, look at a chassis in Tulsa, then back to the absolute hell on earth of my usual life when I'm not on the salt.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

I ran 192.9 down this morning open!!  I never thought it would go that fast open.  I still can't believe it.  I think I hurt the engine though so it only went 185 on the return.  We are packed up and headed home.
