Cell Phone jammers, Check  Revenge.com  several options, I know a guy who has one in his car, he says for a 90 ft radius around his car , people are not talking or texting.  Glad to hear you guys are doing well, this is the first I have heard of this incident .

:x

I'm thinking of developing a cellphone jammer with 1kw of transmit power.  If I get arrested for it, I will claim self-defense.

That is an awesome idea!!

Dave, sorry to hear about you getting hit in Wendover. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Did that happen there at the crosswalk at the Nugget?

Nancy and I were just about to leave the party/dinner when it happened.  The emergency vehicles were parked at the corner of Wendover Blvd. (the main east-west street) and Aria St.  That's the street that's between the Montego & Nugget parking lots (as well as the Shell station and Subway sandwich) and the Sinclair station and Fred's grocery market.  It's two blocks directly north of the Community center.  Now you know where.

Yikes!

That dang cross walk is bad news.   So many cars flying down the main street do not understand that people are walking there and the pedestrians have the right of way!!

Me and a friend almost got run over crossing the street there late one night after dinner.  We saw him not see us and had to run to get out of the way.  He cruised on through oblivious to the fact he almost ran us over.

So glad to hear you are OK!

FYI, there are no stop signs on the Utah side of Wendover, the Nevada side has two stops and two signals. It's always a challenge to cross the highway unless you use the bridge at the two hotels. Just be careful.

Many years of riding motorcycles has taught me : You can be right, and you can be "dead" right. Gladyou are going to be OK. Nice to finally meet you in the tech line. Hope to see you back.
