Good catch Hayden. They didn't give much warning as they did in years past, but fortunately I've been looking on a daily basis.

Thanks Hayden!

Just booked a room @ Montego Bay 8/9 - 814. You can only book 5 nights at a flat rate of $180 per.

Checked the Rainbow & Peppermill and most Thursday?Friday nights booked. The race  before the race is on.

Well, there is the first thing I learned as a rookie to this salt flat operation. I had started looking for a room in 2011 and of course was given the..."not until Feb. 1st @ 10 A.M. ! When I did manage to book it was 10:04 and most of the rooms were filled. I did get a room, but I will really need to learn to type faster, ( or have one of the grandkids do it!). It was also nice to learn, upon paying for the room, that I am now part owner of a casino ! smiley

Thanks for the tips on checking places out. I believe it was probably 50 years ago that I went to the Pioneer museum as well! I think our Wall Drug sign finally fell out of the tree from rust! smiley
