"Casper" is our 2005 GMC 2500HD 4x4 diesel pickup.  We ran Bonneville twice a couple years ago.

But, my printing press was smudging the $100 bills, so we had to stop racing for awhile.

If the Speed Gods are willing, we will do our best to run Speed Week again for 2012.

I do apologize for arguing on the board.  I will try not to do that again.

It's been so long, that I lost Dan Warner's phone number.  I need to arrange a time to certify our displacement prior to the first El Mirage event.  (or who ever is doing displacement certs now).

If someone could email Dan's phone # to mcrat@mcratracing.com it would be deeply appreciated.  Or whoever is doing the certs now.

My truck is in Norco, California, about a mile from the Cook's home.

I guess I need a HANS device now, is there any other major changes I need for a vehicle tech'd in 2009?

Thanks Dan!   cheers

I will give you a ring after we get everything ready.  We have 2 engines that need sealed, but #3 is almost ready as well.

Pat--There have been some changes in the Lateral restraint (Helmet Area) rules. both `wings` of the restraint have to come to the front edge of your Helmet, and have no more than 2'' movement sideways on each side. There are a few threads on this on the forum, but I would certainly try to get an Inspector to run through the Truck before the May El Mirage meet, to make sure you are good to go....

Thanks Paul!

The NHRA is re-certing the cage next week, and checking if I need anything.  Our next event is in March, but it's a dragrace event.

THEN...  I'm going to have to draft a SCTA victim tech inspector to do the same.
