Rick--What a great video. Kudos to Josh, and all the best to you for 2012. Not too likely that I will be inspecting the Flower again this year, but I`ll be down at the pit to check on you, that`s for sure....

Josh has a very particular style which I think works very well on the Salt... where things are either sitting still looking fast or actually going fast...!
Thanks for all the kind comments, we're hoping the video will raise enough awareness over here to help us fund the trip back this year... fingers crossed!!!
Problem is, everytime I watch the video, it makes me want to be back there so badly that I start working out which kid I'd be able to get the most cash for... wink

Cheers

Well it looks like the video had the desired effect... 2 sponsors fighting (!) over supporting us for 2012... from looking like we wouldn't raise the cash to entomb the poor little car in a container for 6 weeks each way (last time it got to Bonneville it looked like it had traveled as deck cargo on a submarine...) just a week ago, it now looks like we might be back although with a significant re-engineer...

Watch this space (or at least the video please!! Every view helps our case with sponsors... and remember it costs us about $25,000 just to get the car and crew to the Salt and back before we start on the usual costs of our addiction!!!)

Can't wait to see make the acquaintances of all our friends on the Salt that I've not yet had a chance to shake hands with!

Your friends across the pond!

Rick and the Speed Scotland crew.

That whole deck cargo on a submarine thing really makes a mess when you ship em. The rust even builds up inside components if you have an unvented container.  Drench it in diesel & let it drip-dry in the sun before you pack it up, then wash it down when you get it at the other end.
