I have been watching the Dakar the almost last two weeks. Really good stuff.

Robbie Gordon has been doing well, holding back last week for a final blast to the finish. He won a stage a couple days ago and then was DQed for a tech problem with his on board tire inflation system. He claims that it is the same as the last few years and passed pre--race tech.

He cannot win overall now but still can compete for stage wins. The team put a bolt into a vent line, that was the issue. Yesterday he won the stage and spanked everyone by 20+ minutes. His post race interview was a classic Robbie Gordon rant.
