Car Safety Requirements
These are just some of highlights of the safety requirements for cars; you will need to purchase a rulebook to ensure your total compliance.

I will be buying the parachute soon.  What constitutes a Land Speed Parachute?

John call Stroud Safety and Talk to Bill... or call Joe Timney

They can give you the tech mumbo jumbo,,,,

a few items that constitute  LSR chutes
longer  lines, a tad slower deployment time, softer more controlled "hit"  to name a few...

I am specifically trying to meet the defined rules for payment LSR since the land speed parachute term is specific.

Great chart Joe!  I would suggest that you slightly modify the titles to read

"To go between 151-175...
To go between 176-200.."

etc so it is clear that the '175'is a Max speed and not a Min speed.

Helmet question . . .  for cars up to 135 mph can the "Snell 2005 or 2010 full-face helmet with face shield"  be an 'M' helmet or must it be an 'SA' helmet?    Thanks . . .

HI Joe

just noticed your link states between 150 and 175 we need arm restraints and full door net. But the rule book still states between 135 and 175 arm restraints or full door net.  huh
