The Wilmington Inn has the best rates and is most similar to Pine Acres the unofficial host in Laurinburg; however, I don't think it has a huge number of rooms. The General Denver in Downtown is an interesting place with a nice pub but maneuvering and parking may be tough prior to dropping trailers off.

I booked at the Holiday Inn Express the week before Thanksgiving and they were almost booked up. It is directly across the highway from the airpark but you have to go down the street to a traffic lite and then back up to the park, eta five minutes. Iwas told the reason they were almost booked was there was a lingerie show that weekend, I take way too much medication to care but I  like to share important information with others.

I'd book now as the Wilmington Inn was booked for that weekend and I believe the Holiday Inn Express is now full also.

looks like the local hotels, bars and resturaunts are going to like the crowds ECTA is drawing in  to the local Economy.

Holiday Inn Express and Wilmington Inn are now fully booked..

Good luck to all those who need rooms,,,

See you in April

Wilmington Inn is sold out, we're staying at the Holiday Inn Express... I called the front desk and she said they have a lot of equestrian events in the area and are used to trucks and trailers.  They're on a side street near the airport and the police have allowed overflow parking on the street for large trucks and trailers.

If you are looking for rooms, they still have quite a few left as of this morning, mostly mini-suites.......

DON'T CALL THE HOLIDAY INN 1-800 NUMBER!  Call the front desk @ 1-937-382-5858 they have a discount set up for ECTA now and are very helpful.  The young lady said they are "excited to see what this is all about" since they have never had anything in town like this before!
