The guy is nuts.  No full face helmet, head restraints, or any decent safety gear.  He has a lot to learn if he lives long enough to learn it.

 I think it would be interseting to take any car that has a documented speed on pavement and run it on the salt to see the difference. Would it be five percent slower, twenty percent slower?

I was thinking the exact same thing as I watched him put on that open face helmet (I'm sure for TVs sake).  Kept picturing Wheldon flying the length of a football field. sad

Don't think that it mets the rule of 500 cars sold per year.   And if I had that much money in my 401k, I would be retired....
