I would be interested in seeing a picture of this bike. After attending the BUB`s meeting this year, i went and picked up a Airtech body (Charlie Toy) that i had purchased about six months ago. It would be good to have a look at how the body is positioned on Pats bike, sometimes you can learn a lot by looking at a picture, wink,,

Pat just ran a phenomenal 247.66 mph on his turbo Hayabusa cheers

Pat is not only a great racer he is awesome guy and I am so happy for him and his wife!

Congrats Pat for setting the record and also the top speed for a bike for the year, I think he is also the second fastest vehicle to date for this El Mirage racing season with the 911 roadster running 250+ mph.

Way to go WOMACK!!

Noonan

Thanks for the kind words John.  Had a great time on the dry lake with you this past season.  Sharlene enjoyed meeting you and Michelle.  Looking forward to seeing you both at the banquet.   cheers

Hey Everyone - I just wanted to say Thanks!  The SCTA does an outstanding job in putting on these events. Thanks to all the inspectors, officials, and volunteers that make this all possible.  Glad to finally end the season with records that will finally get in the books!  I couldn't have done it with out the support of Jeff and Dave of Tudors Performance, Lucas Oil, J&E Pistons, Spyder Grips (Paul & Becca), SAS Systems, Airtech bodywork, and my family for putting up with me.   grin

Looking forward to the 2012 season.  cheers

Not the best pictures (with my rattle can paint job), but here are a few pics of the bike from the October / November El Mirage.

Another pic of the bike with Shane San Miguel also on the line.  He ran a 198+ in the production class.  GO SHANE!

Here is Pat (in the white tee) just after getting his Red hat, all smiles.

I was chatting with Pat during the drivers meeting at this years WF, imminent nasty weather was looming ahead... I asked him where he was going just as the rain drops started falling ? With his typical smile, he replied " I'm taking the bike to the starting line"

 The guy is a racer

Hey Blake!
It was nice talking with you at World Finals as well.  That's a classic pic from 2009 of my initiation into the Red Hat gang. Will definitely need to get that one framed.  I need a good copy of that "jpg" if you have it.

Luckily, we added one more to that group this past year.  My team mate Dave "Lightning" Boultwood.   cheers

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.
