245 200+ mph time slips. 252 mph on a dirtbike

« on: November 12, 2011, 12:54:13 PM »

Pat just ran a phenomenal 247.66 mph on his turbo Hayabusa cheers

Pat is not only a great racer he is awesome guy and I am so happy for him and his wife!

Congrats Pat for setting the record and also the top speed for a bike for the year, I think he is also the second fastest vehicle to date for this El Mirage racing season with the 911 roadster running 250+ mph.

Way to go WOMACK!!

On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime.  His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.

Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all.

Dang, that's great, Pat.  Nancy and I met him and his wife at Bonneville a couple of years ago and got to know him in meets after that.  Nice guy, fun to watch wrenching and talking and mostly smiling.  It couldn't be better -- his turn was definitely due.  Congratulations.

I so enjoyed seeing Pat run this pass. He is a wonderful person and a great fellow racer. He and his crew gave me a lot of great tips at b'ville in 2010, and also some really helpful advice on blown class.

Congrats Team Womack!   cheers
