The BUB Speed Trials is usually held the last week of August carrying over into the first couple days of September.
Below is a link to the BUB website that will provide all info (i.e. - rules, dates & times, and entry info.)
as it becomes available.

If you don't find an official date, you can email Delvene at      delvenem@bubracing.com She should be able to answer your questions.

The March 2012 American Iron magazine has a nice article on Denis Manning.  The article is a bit vague on detail about the future plans for BUB 7.  It does have an optimistic tone.  A picture caption says "Denis hopes his turbocharged 3000cc V-4, DOHC, four-valve per cylinder, water cooled, methanol Big Bang motor will power his BUB 7 LSR motorcycle to a new Bonneville record."  2012 might be a good year.

His rider will be well rested now that he has retired from the pro flat-track circuit.  It could be crowded in the pits if all of the 'liners' show.

So - will the Motor Scooter Land Speed group be racing at the Bub's event this year?  I believe that I received a notice of them running their speed trials, at Bonneville, during that same time.  If so -- good for them and good for you.
