On 9-27-08 we lost a great friend and fellow racer, he was the BEST, he helped anyone with anything at anytime. His name is Dave Owen and he will be missed by all that knew him and I am glad to have met him.
Seeing him at Bonneville during 2008 Speedweek was the tops, Dave was in awe of the salt and as usual was there helping out anyone who asked..simply put we lost a great man who will be missed by all. J

Lance I looked and could not tell from the little video in the YouTube link, can you post the rest of my pass or other racers? I can't believe D3 ran 246 pm that same dirt..congrats to all of the racers!

Your video nicely captured the spirit of a Dry Lakes event - boy, was it fun! At 1:27 there's a bit of old # 426 at the starting line . . . I was a bit surprised to do 205, without any wheel spin, apparently (and with a big German TV camera mounted to the top of my scoop). Thanks for filming and posting it! Willi

HAHA When I took the video of you there was a couple guys with some fancy camera in your face and I kind of cut in front of them to get my shot.
