At present, we are working on dates for next year. There are a lot of hoops: 1) We are discussing with the state if the arrangement we made with the birds will be acceptable again. 2) We have 2 large festivals in the area at that time (large for up here) 3) We are trying to keep some seperation with the ECTA to respect all that they have done for us. 4) Speed week is early this year on the 11th.
Its like the guy at the circus spinning the plates on the ends of the sticks...A lot of sticks.....A lot of plates.
We should have a dae by end of month.
Thank you for your patience.

I'm hoping you land on the we after July Wilmington. Texas to Wilmington, the a lazy trip to Loring, yup. That would suit some of the Texas crew that have been supporting LTA for the last 3 years.

I'd like to come to Maine and webcast the speed trials for Landracing.com from a point near the starting line, then maybe Jon and Nancy will be there too for some runs.

I hope it works out that way. Have a productive off season and come back loaded for bear. 2012 may be loaded with fast times. Greg

Hello All, The state has just returned our application for the 2012 event and since all of our racers and spectators from last year were kind enough to play by the rules and keep off the grass (thank you all), they have agreed to allow us to continue to run in July.
That said, the 2012 Maine event will be held July 13th-15th. If we get enough registered, we will likely add Friday as a third day of racing or may even convert the return road to a short coarse for licensing and slower vehicles.
Of coarse, Monday will remain a rain day.
We have not yet decided if there will be more than one event.
Thank you, The LTA
