A really quick trip it must have been -- I saw him for a couple of minutes at CarQuest in Wendover Wednesday afternoon.  He'd just got there - to discover the rainy weather.  Stayed there that evening, drove home Thursday, I suppose, and ready to race for the weekend.  Whew -- tiring, hey?

Not if you don't race in Wendover. We got three in the box for El Mirage. Tuned up, gased up and clean.

PS - Kent tried to splash me with mud in Ash Springs- my spry self was able to pull a Dancing w/the Stars move and avoid the bath.

I was working on my SCTA ballot and for being such a nimble person I might have to write you in as a candidate. But on second thought you already do a herculean amount of work and I wouldn't want to add to you loosing your nimbleness.  Tony  cheers

Thats not fair Vic. Kristy is older than me and Chaz and I don't play on the same team.

I thought good. I sent all my stuff to Jon Amo after it went bust due to mis-managment.

DW

I still have it all, the greater question is how many have a LSA Jacket... Not many... Or a LSA record...

Jon, I have a LSA shirt & decal and I signed all of the LSA certs.  I have a copy of Don Vesco's 458 run and a copy of the FIA cert.

enough about solving/equalizing classes etc on asphalt; that's a topic for another thread like Slim says...

John,
We missed having you at Mojave; things are always more colorful with you around.

there was nothing wrong with Bill's bike, he hit a slight dip in the track (which i never noticed at 215+) about 600' from traps, came out of the throttle battled bad handling, and trapped 274.  Obviously Bill knows the speed at which he came out of the gas (he logs GPS) but that's his to tell  grin.

My 220.8 beats my 218.8 at Maxton, but so far the best my TFAzz has been able to do is 226.6 at Loring.

Charlie hit 213.x with a tiny bit of spray.

I am VERY proud of Bill for NOT ignoring a potentially dangerous track situation and hanging it to play another day.

And I Y proud of Billy Shoemaker hitting 269 on the 4th time he swung a leg over that bike; 2 shakedown, one partial effort, one go for it.
No matter how well set up by Bill Warner, it was still set up for Bill warner.  Billy rode the Plymouth outa it and for sure he will do better once he aclimates
Brenda Sue was fastest woman of the meet,190+. Way to go Brenda.
Bill W. 276 I think
Billy Shoemaker 269+
Karl G 220+
Rebecca Hirst 180 her first race.
Charlie Freeman not sure around 220
Did they have cars there?? evil

How fast for the Electric bike of Kent Riches?

Way to go Karl!  Fastest ever for him I think.

Brenda Sue at 190+ awesome!

276 for bill, what's wrong with the bike?  Congrats on the track record, color is the shirt?

Billy Shoemaker new personal best on a proven 278 mph bike, look for
greater speeds next time for sure cheers

Congrats to all of the racers for their personal bests and to bill for a new track record.  cheers

I felt that dip on one of my runs as well. Only a 195 pass but definitely unsettled the bike. Can see it being a big deal at 270+.

Looks like the old cup car I did 205 at Maxton ran 195 there with Richard learning how to drive it. Not too shabby
