Also, I'm a little confused about the following: I'm running Production and prefer lower octane stuff.  My understanding is that the fuel vendor provides gas and seals the tank.  How can I find out octane ratings of what they're bringing?

thanks,
Frank

Call the fuel vendor and ask them.

I just got off the phone with Bob Taylor and he will NOT be at Loring in September.  He told me he's trying to get one of his local dealers to show up but no news yet.  Hopefully he will get a commitment from someone to be there.

Not sure how this works tank sealing, etc.  I can obviously bring my own gasoline and Bob said he can help anyone driving north from NH into Maine.

There is one local who could supply the event but he would need to know now so he could order what everyone needs. Typically he stocks Competition Fuels 112 and Renegade 110 (I think). I know he is also a distributer for Sunoco also

I need to know If I need to bring my own fuel or if there will be a vendor on site.

VP or Sunoco is fine with me,,   I can use C12 from VP or  110 Purple from Sunoco

I just need to know which fuel will be at the track so I can base tune here with the same fuel.

Thanks

And  now the moment you have all been waiting for.
VP will be represented at the September event by the local dealer.  Larry's Service in Madawaska.

They are VP and I am not certain of others.  Scott can be reached at:

As usual, no MTBE so bring it with you if you need it.

Sorry for the delay. I literally just got off the phone with him.

MTBE is a fuel additive that is not allowed to be sold in Maine.
