We had a T-Mile event on the books for September to allow supercars and superbikes.

WELL NOT ANYMORE.  Our racers have said that they like things the way they are, and frankly, we like our racers the way they are.

So, we have decided to make September an encore of the Maine Event.

Get ready, spread the word, and lets all get together one Sept. 16-18!

See you all there.

Reg will open soon.

I hope you have a geat event.  Unfortunately it is way to close to the Throttle Nation Top Speed Challenge at Maxton for us to make it.  The best street legal bikes, ridden by their owners will be coming together to see who is fastest.  We are 2 time defending class champions.  I'm sure there will be some fast times on the 1.5 mile in the cool weather.  Best of luck to all.

Could something be done with the sound system? Last years was way better than this years setup. You couldnt hear anything in the staging area.

I'm in the audio biz - you can't always just "turn it up", and safely placing PA horns or speakers isn't always as easy as it might appear.  We've been working with USAC this last month for events at Indy and the Milwaukee Mile.  I wasn't at Loring, but I am curious as to how the setup was different this year than last.

As we get more and more landspeed events it's going to be more difficult to do scheduling with out some conflict. I'm sure the promotors will attempt to have the least possible conflict and as the events are virtually on opposite sides of the country there should be only minor interference.

The venues are 3000 miles apart ... I go to Bonneville every other year for Bubs and I never have attended USFRA ... Loring is 600 miles for me.

Glad to see you are going with a second LTA event instead of the "shoot out". Unfortunately I have previous
commitment for these dates. Had  a great time at the previous three events. PLEASE BRING BACK THE MOOSE LOGO.Nothing identifies with Maine like a moose.

Maybe Racheal will see 200 mph on that little stock motor after all. Only .7 to go!  smiley

Room reserved.  cheers
